Hi All!
Just checking in with a few products worth noting. Good cleansers (once you have got the skin calmed down) are Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser and Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Cleanser.
Eucerin's Q 10 Sunblock lotion, spf 15 for sensitive skin is good, as is their Q 10 Anti Wrinkle Cream (sensitive skin formula) for moisture.
AVOID: Vanicream Moisture Cream if you're a stinger. It contains propylene glycol. No wonder I couldn't tolerate it!
Clinique's Gentle Cleansing Cream and Lauder's Tender Cream Cleanser both contain Urea -- which will, you guessed it -- stinnnnng!
A new skincare line which I have found for dry hypersensitive types is made by a company in NJ. The product line is called Exederm. Check it out at
www.Exederm.com . Their moisture cream is pretty good and really non-irritating.
I haven't yet tried the cleanser. This line is for ultra sensitive types, so you won't find many products. I ordered products on a Fri. and got them Mon. so shipping is fast. I ordered 1 cleanser and 3 jars of moisture cream and they threw in a full size of their cortisone cream for rashy flare-ups.
I wish all the hubbies and dads a great Father's Day, and puhleeeeese, everybody eat something good for me! I am restricted in Sodium, Potassium, Protein, Carbs, and Calories, so there isn't a heck of a lot I can eat! My ankles are staying nice and skinny though, so that's a good thing. I forgot to mention Phosphorous restriction and no dairy either! Only 2 servings of veggies per day.
<sigh> But hey, clear skin and skinny ankles -- what more can you ask? LOL!
Everyone stay well, and I'll post again the next time I run across something.
Best Wishes! Inky >^.^<
