Hi all,
I started noticing uneven, dull skin tone and loss of elasticity in my body skin about a year ago. I figure since I've been spending so much on my face, the rest of my body can get a little correction, too. I'm looking for lotions that have antioxidant component or other types of corrective actions such as copper peptides, niacinamide, glycolic acid, etc.
I've been using AminoGenesis Cocoon over the year and love as it has a light consitancy, mildly exofliating (sunscreen is a must) and keeps me hydrated without feeling goopy. Unfortunately it costs over $40 for 8 ounces. I'm currently testing Olay Age Transform Body Creme Serum ($9 for 10.1 fl oz), which contains vitamin C, niacinamide, grape seed extracts, green tea, titanium dixoide, and on. This one has mica, so it has a wee bit of shimmer. I'm very pale, so you can't really see it. The scent is a little strong, but not bothersome to me as I'm not sensitive to fragrance. So far, so good.
I've also seen posts recommending Neova (copper peptide) lotion, which Costco is currently carrying.
What have been your experiences with these types of lotions? Any recommendations?
Thanks much!!
