That was actually a question I had emailed to Dr. B some time ago. She had asked if she could post it in the Q&A section!

Although I don't know for certain, I suspect using a BHA cleanser wouldn't inactivate a topical retinoid because you rinse if off. However, if you were to apply a BHA gel after you cleansed that would interfere with the retinoid.

I'm no longer using a retinoid, but when I did I used the BHA during the day and my serum & retinoid at night.
