I TRIED THE ELIZABETH ARDEN FOUNDATION, ITS VERY SMOOTH AND MOISTURIZING I LOVE IT BUT NOW I'M AT A LOSS FOR WHAT TYPE OF BLUSH TO USE, I'M USING THE BARE MINERALS BECAUSE I TRIED IT AND DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO USE.
I TRIED THE MAYBELLINE MOUSSE BUT IT WAS REALLY THICK, I ALSO TRIED ALMAY, THE ROUND CONTAINER WITH A SPONGE BUT I DIDN'T LIKE THAT EITHER, I'M AT A LOSS.

THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE AGAIN.

Hi Karen,

I am also dry, so I've learned to stay away from powder blushes and eye shadows.  I'm currently using a product by Adrian Arpel.  It's from her Signature Club A line.  It says on the front of the bottle: "Over 40 Only Lightweight Vitamin C & Silicone Souffle Eye & Cheek color".

Besides gliding on easily, the color is great.  I wear a lot of bright pinks (cool color) and bright yellows (slightly warm color), and I don't have to switch blushes, the shade is great and goes with everything in my wardrobe!  I've never come across a blush that does that.  I used to use a cooler shade of pink with my pinks, blacks, whites and greys, and a warmer shade of blush wtih my reds, blues and yellows.  (I do color analysis and I know about choices!!!)

Anyway, it's a nice blush, and I don't think you have to be "over 40" to use it  .  I got this through HSN (Home Shopping Network) years ago.

You might like Smashbox skintints blush--they're a gel blush that goes on
very easily. They are subtle. I am dead white and can use the red.

Hi Karen,

I used to never use blush as it was always too drying, but two that I do use now (in association with the right foundation (bobbi brown moisture rich) I like the body shop's shimmer brick thingy - powder (sorry, I can't remember what it's actually called!) and bobbi brown's pot rouge for lips and cheeks - cream

good luck!
