Hi all,

Just to let you know, I found a coupon for skinstore.com---type in AFFL0407 for 10% off your entire order. Good until 4-30-07.

I just order La Roche Posay Toleriane products (dermo cleanser and facial cream) and the Fallene COTZ physical sunblock SPF 58. My skin is a mess right now....it's decided it *doesn't* like Paula's Choice (especially the Barely There Sheer Matte Tint SPF 20, which I had been using as my sunscreen after being unable to tolerate the stinging from chemical sunscreens). Poor skin barrier....it needs repair! The PC is making my skin break out, and when I have it on for the whole day, by the end my skin feels itchy and dry, as if the Matte formula was literally sucking moisture out of me :'(---this is even though I moisturize under it. The weird thing is that my face doesn't look dry--the physical SS is still a little sheen-y, but now all my pores and unevenness are MAGNIFIED. Ugh--I hate the dry, irritated skin + breakout look. So attractive.

Anyway, I've been flailing around trying to get it to calm down and decided the products that aren't working must be returned. I had been using Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Cleanser + Wonder Cloth, but I think this cleanser is drying me out/ irritating my skin; it's also started to smell "bad" to me, chemical-like, which is a sure sign my body doesn't like it. I've stopped the PC Cleanser and the WC and gone back to Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser...hopefully that will help (although I don't particularly like the "moisturized" feel of my skin after using the Neutrogena). I'll go the EVOO route if things don't get better.

I dithered about buying the Toleriane Facial Cream. Atopalm MLE has so many more raves and is a Dr. B pick and is supposed to repair the skin barrier....but a few people seem to have reacted to it and I don't want to take the chance right now.

Sunscreen is so frustrating--my skin was fine until I tried to add back sunscreen into my regimen.
