My doctor put me on birth control pills about a month and a half ago. He said that I have some symptoms of poly-cystic ovarian syndrome. He mentioned that they would clear my skin up (ortho tri-cyclen lo). Lately I have noticed that my skin looks TERRIBLE! I used to get this bumpy sort of acne underneath my skin and it was under control the last few months, but now it's back! Is it possible that the bc pills, which were supposed to clear up the occasional breakouts, are having the opposite effect?
