Well guys, I really have to laugh at myself for this one.  For 18 years, I've experience styes (fluid filled) on the rim of my eyelids whenever I'm stressed.  More stress, more styes.  Their really my indicator, along with breakouts, of just how stressed I am.  There easy to get rid of...I just scrape with my finger nail (wash hands first, of course).

I just had a revelation this morning.....is this ocular rosacea?  At my eye appt last year, I relayed to the doctor what I mentioned above.  His response was something along the lines of "their just crusties" then he grabbed a tool and scraped them off.  My response to him was, "..then why do I only get them when I'm stressed?"  He instructed me to cleanse more throughly around my eyes.  Well, golly gee willikers, I think he side stepped the question.

Does anyone else experience this?  Since I changed my makeup, the irritated eye symptoms have gone away, but the styes still come back whenever I'm stressed.

Here are the symptoms (high level descrptions) of ocular rosacea:
* Dry eyes, irritation, redness, itching, burning, foreign body sensation, photophobia
* Recurrent "styes"
* Recurrent eye infections
