My mom is dying of emphysema and probably has only weeks to live . (My husband and are are battling to get her admitted to hospice so she can come home to us--I want her to die with me, not in some nursing home.) I know it sounds ludicrous to be worrying about my skin right now, but it HURTS. I can't seem to stop leaking tears (although I'm trying very very hard to be strong when I'm with my mom) and my face is red, blotchy and chapped, the cystic acne I had on my chin as a teen has returned (I am using clindagel and DDF Sulfur mask which help, although not enogh) and my eyes are painfully red and swollen. My usual skin routine (which had been working great) is suddenly not enogh, not at all. It doens't help that my S score is in the high 50s.
Does anyone have any ideas I could try? :'(
