I am a D-16/R-25/P-30/W-44 and just purchased the MD Forte II cleanser and the Affirm 2X. I have been using the MD Formulations facial cleanser for 1 week now, and I really like the results. I hardly feel dry and tight after cleansing now. Anyway, I am almost out of this cleanser so I though I would switch to the MD Forte II as recommended in the book with the intent to graduate to III.

To my knowledge, I have never used a retinol product before. For the past 5 years or so, I have been using Marykay skin care products exclusively. I have been reviewing the ingredients, and I have not noticed the word retinol anywhere. How slow do I start with the Affirm II? I purchased on the skinstore.com because of the 20% off coupon. While on skinstore.com, I noticed that it is not recommended to use Affirm products while using Alpha Hydroxy Acids at the same time. Aren't glycolic acids the same thing? Please advise !!!!!
