I've noticed that in some of the specific skin type threads people have posted comments about the book. I thought it would be appropriate to have a thread for this in General Discussion.

It would be a good idea if the techies can make this a sticky so new members can just pop straight into this thread and put their comments in on how good the book is.

I'll kick start it in this forum.

I loved the book and like others have said in other threads it has become my skin bible. I have told everyone I know about it. I know what all my girlfriends are going to get from me for Christmas (that's if they haven't given in to my nagging and bought the book themselves by then)! ;D

It appears that Dr Baumann has personalised the book depending on the Country you buy it in. The book I bought seems to have been geared to what is avaialbe in Australia, which is great.
I was planning on buying the book for my husband's niece who is returning to the UK (after a year living and working here), so she could read it on the 'plane. However I'm wondering if she'd be better off waiting until she's back there and getting the book when it comes out in July.
Those poor Brits have to wait another month and a bit until they can get their hands on this wonderful book.
I also just put a comment on the Amazon website singing the praises of the book. There is only one negative comment from an aesthetician (I had to look it up, I believe we call them beauticians over here) and I suggested that the review was negative as the book doesn't recommend or mention beauticians. Perhaps they are a little dirty about the fact that this book empowers us to take control of our skin's destiny and we will be less reliant on their services now we know what we need to do. ;D

After I read this topic, I went out to amazon.com here and discovered some scathing reviews from several individuals and one aesthetician. I couldn't believe it. How can you not love this book? ??? I think you're right Cygnatius, they are just playing dirty. Well here's a big for them. I'm going to be recommending this book to every one I know. My one sister already thinks I'm silly about it...but she is taking the quiz this weekend. So I think she'll be silly too before the weekend is out. I also put a review out on amazon.com singing praises. This is for Dr. Baumann, a big :-* and thanks for writing such an awesome book.

Is the book available in Spanish, too?
