TOPIC: DHC Products

DHC Products 6 years ago #143

I have started receiving DHC catalogs and samples. (They are also online at www.dhccare.com .) I find their products to be very interesting and I have been using their "White Sunscreen SPF25" with good results so far. It has only mineral sunscreens in it, goes on easily and dries matte.

Does anyone have personal experieince with any DHC products or know if Dr. Baumann has researched them?

Thanks!

AnastasiaKay, I used several of DHC's products years ago. I never had any sensitivity issues or any major complaints about them, but stopped using them simply because I didn't like DHC products better than other products I could buy in local stores. I did try their foundation, too, but the shades at that time were too yellow-based for my skin (but that may have changed). I can see how people whose skin isn't as extremely oily as mine could find they would work for them.

I've used several DHC products over the years and enjoyed them, but not enough to repurchase. It just didn't make a dramatic difference in my skin. I do like the Deep Cleansing oil, though, and would purchase that if I didn't have to spend like $70+ to get free shipping.

I've been trying the samples from DHC for years also but I can't seem to justify the price...Mostly because I haven't really noticed much of a difference.  My resistant skin is probably the reason.  Most products from this line are too gentle for me.
But because my skin is dry, it does well with the "Deep Cleansing Oil" and the "Olive Virgin Oil" moisturizer.  (It's funny, but I thought my skin would look oily with the moisturizer but it doesn't.)
No SPF in most products is also going in the wrong direction.
