HI all,

I have just finished regarding the book and am an O(33)S(46)P(35)W(52.5).

I am a bit confused about some ingredients after reading an answer to a question by Dr Baumann which was "Retinoids should not be mixed with BHA (salicylic acid) or AHA (glycolic acid) because the BHA and AHAs can inactivate the retinoid".

Are retinoid's the same as retinol's?  I have started using Clean and Clear Continuous Control Acne Wash and Aveda Balancing Infusion for Oily Skin/Acne which both have Salicylic acid.  I have ordered Philosophy Help Me Retinol Product and Purpose Redness Reducing Moisturizer SPF30.  Should I be using these together based on the above answer?

I was just going to follow the regime in the book on page 68.

Also, is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate the same as Sodium Laureth Sulfate?  As Dr. Baumann recommends not using products with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate but the RoC cleanser recommended has Sodium Laureth Sulfate as an ingredient.
