Started taking minocycline for acne on Oct. 10, noticed slight headache right away, but put it off to de-hydration. Headache continued off and on for the next few weeks. Last Friday I became very ill after taking one pill. I had a severe headache/chills/fever/leg cramps/dizziness, etc. My husband wanted me to go to the ER, but we have a 4 year old who was fast asleep. I called a nurse hotline and she went over my symptoms, so I ended up taking extra strenght Tylenol for the discomfort and went back to bed. After being off of this medication for 2 1/2 days I feel almost 100% better. Anyone else have this reaction??? This is now the second antibiotic I have tried and so far neither is working for me. However the Noritate 1% is working well for the Rosecea.
