I'm new to this site, and I'm hoping I can get some answers &/or feedback from people who have the same problems as me!!  ;D

For starters, my skin is VERY oily, VERY acne prone (whiteheads), with some scarring. I've tried everything from derm recommended products to Proactive, Arbonne, & Oracea (a pill I'm currently taking). I've tried MANY creams, gels, and cleaners....but none of them show me results. I can supply my exact list of the creams and gels tomorrow if requested!

I’ve found that I see best results if I apply a clay mask every night, followed by a cleanser, followed by wiping my face w/ a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol both morning & night (yes rubbing alcohol!)... I tell people this and they think I'm crazy, but I'll do anything for results!! This isn't my current system but just an example of what’s showed me the best results!

Recently my derm told me that laser treatments would get rid of the oil, and that microdermabrasion would heal the acne....is this the best way?? Microdermabrasion is so expensive; does anyone recommend store bought versions that work just as good? Or is the money really worth it?

My most recent skin care system is as follows:
MORNING: take one Oracea pill, cleanse, exfoliate, wipe w/ rubbing alcohol, followed w/ derm recommended cream.

NIGHT: cleanse, exfoliate, wipe w/ rubbing alcohol, followed by a tea tree oil gel from The Body Shop.

EVERY OTHER NIGHT: Apply clay mask.

I'm probably doing everything wrong; can someone give me some guidance and any products you'd recommend?? Thank you very much!!!
