I was fortunate enough to avoid getting spots until about 2 or 3 years ago and I still don't get too many on my face. I get some on my chest, in my hairline, on my neck and some strange places too.
My trouble is that although it is very naughty I have always been a picker. Since I read the book and am starting my new regimen I'm doing my best to be good. Since this is the first time I've left pimples to their own devices I have no idea how long they take to disappear. Can anyone who had a history of being good in this regard shed any light on the subject?
I am using the recommended pimple treatment but they seem to be taking an age to disappear and are tormenting me!

I've had spots since my pre-teen years. Not really bad acne but I've always at least one pimple to deal with. For me, it has always taken a week to two weeks to get rid of the spot completely. They would shrink after a day or two but then because I have sensitive skin, I would end up with a red or light brown spot on my face. This book has given me the right way to handle that. Are they showing improvement but just taking a long time to go away? My experience with my own skin and having known other people with the same problem is that you shouldn't have to deal with them for more than a few days to a week. I hope this helped. Good luck.
