Well everyone, I'm rewarding myself for working 70 hours last week by planning my container garden. I'm a novice at gardening, but have been trying to accomplish it for a few years. My favorite thing is to sit on my porch with my hubby and flowers watching the sun rise or set while drinking coffee. Pretty specific huh?

Does anyone have any fragrant flowers they highly recommend? BTW, I'm in zone 8-9.

One gentleman said morning glories have a wonderful scent. Others I'm looking at are Shirley Poppy, Antique Pink Pansy, Sweet Geranium, Dwarf Sweet Peas, heliotrope, Sweet Alyssum (gulf wind??), and Lemon Verbena (gotta have green somewhere). I haven't figured out exactly what these are or soil requirements yet, but I'm working on that.
