I took Dr. Baumann's assessment twice, but I guess that I am a DRNW. I am 24 years old, and while I'm sure I'm well on my way to wrinkles, I feel like my biggest skin problem right now is my large, very easily clogged, pores. While I do get zits on a fairly regular (you ladies know what I'm talking about) basis, they are usually isolated and pale in comparison to the amount of blackheads and whiteheads. Do any other DRNWs have this problem? Any advice? I feel like I have tried everything, and it's just a vicious cycle at this point: dead skin clogs my pores, creating the whiteheads. I exfoliate to get rid of the dead skin, but it seems like it makes the flaking and peeling even worse, no matter how well I mositurize. But I can't hit a happy medium, because if I moisturize more, my large pores just become clogged again! Does anyone have any advice for me? I feel like I am missing a big piece of the puzzle here, and if anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I have not started Dr. Baumann's regiment for DRNWs yet, I wanted to wait and see if anyone else of this skin type had the same problems. It may just be my own stereotype, but I can't help but feel that all this moisturizing would just make things worse in the pore department??
