I read something by Dr. Baumann which said not to use a night cream with glycolic after using a retinol product because the glycolic will de-activate the retinol. Does this apply to cleansers. I am using a DDF cleanser recommended in Dr. Baumann's book. Can I use it at nighttime if I am going to follow it with a retinol? Do I need to only use the glycolic cleanser in the a.m. and use something else at night? I'm confused.
