I am DRPW and I am 40. I have been using Retin-A for almost one month and have little reaction (flaking only one night) and no results. I've been using .05 of the cream. Next time I have to order a tube, should I request a higher percentage or will I begin to see results eventually on the .05?

Thanks-

Robin,

That's not the lowest dose. What kind of results are you looking for? If it's results for acne, it will take about eight weeks, but you should see some results now.

For diminishing of fine lines it takes 6 mos to a year. This really does work though! Short of Botox and surgery, this is what will give you results.

As far as the flaking, it sounds like you're very lucky! It's working flaking or not. Don't use more than you're using though. Not flaking is a *good* thing! You can go up on your next prescription if you want to, but you won't run out of this tube for 9 mos to a year (if you got the largest tube).

Thanks, Nick-Nack-
I have no acne. Just fine lines and brown spots--
