I have just completed 5 "photo facials" using intense pulsed light. It did very nice things to the skin on my face and I am pleased with the results. I am also using Lustra to lighten some of the more stubborn dark spots. My question is Can I use a mild self tanner on my face? Will it harm the results I have seen from the treatments?

That sounds like a tough one... definately have Dr. Baumann answer it.

But it does seem odd to use a product to "lighten" the skin and then tan it...LOL

Becky,

I was wondering the same thing, why would you lighten your skin, especially with an expensive proceedure, then want to tan it? I'm not sure what a photo facial" consists of, but I would think it best to let your skin rest before tanning. Good question though, perhaps Dr. Baumann will get a chance to write to you with her advice.

Good luck!
