DSNT's, Dr. Baumann has advised us to avoid products with Sodium lauryl sulfate. I guess that Clarins added this ingredient after the newest version of The Skin Type Solution was published, because now, Clarins Multi-Active Night Youth Recovery Comfort Cream contains Sodium lauryl sulfate. It is the last ingredient, but, as Dr. Baumann states, " Sodium lauryl sulfate is an irritating detergent commonly used....and purchase brands that don't contain it" (253). I have very sensitive skin, and I know my skin always reacts to Sodium lauryl sulfate. If you have very sensitive skin, I would advise not using this product as a recommended night cream.
