I recently received my order of three products: Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser, Thermal Spring Water, and Toleriane Fluid.
The cleanser left my skin feeling a little dry and irritated.
At first the thermal water felt good, but then my skin began to itch and it became irritated. It's either the nitrogen in the propellant or the minerals in the water. I have concerns about propellant misters. Paula B. reviewed some of the LRP products in the seventh edition of her book, Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me. She wrote that "the nitrogen used as a propellant to create a mist of water can generate free-radical damage and cause cell death." (p. 547.) She cites three sources for her comment.
The fluid is really a thin lotion. It contains eight ingredients. The first three are water (thermal), squalane, and glycerin. The fluid felt good on my skin, but I may not use it because of the thermal water. I needed to use an emollient moisturizer on top because my skin is so dry, but I think it could work alone as a moisturizer for sensitive normal to oily skin.
