Hi, I posted this also in the Q&A but those don't seem to get answered by DrB so I though just putting it out here in a forum may help me.
I just got the book a few weeks ago and I’m still trying to iron out some questions with the regime through the forums. I am a 42 year old DSNW. I have facial redness, I don’t think it’s rosacea from what I’ve read ,unless it is a mild case. I plan on seeing my derm. asap to confirm this ( although when I saw him in January with my concerns about the redness and flushing he said it was from broken blood vessels from sun damage??
My question is why you don’t recommend any Kinerase, Murad or Perricone products. I was to Sephora today and the help ( who seemed to be somewhat knowledgeable about different product lines) felt that especially Kinerase would be a good line for me to try because of my sensitivity and redness, she said it’s made for people with rosacea and sensitive skin. Her thoughts were also that Murad and Perricone may be a little strong for me (I was informed that they are quality products that contain the highest active ingredients possible) but that the sunscreens may be fine and that their supplements are very popular, clients claim to see a difference She also said Dr Brandt has a product called “laser in a bottle” that is very effective for reducing redness. Her opinion was that the Claudalie is also a great line for sensitive clients. You did recommend the Claudalie mask for me which I will be trying. Any thoughts on these other product lines?
Hope some of you have experience or knowledge to share. Thanks
