I am also new on the forum.
Looks as though this post is fairly old, but I'm sure the history remains to be history.
My numbers are as follows:
D-20, S-53, N-13, W-51
Age: 46
I've tried many types of Sunscreens in the past. They burn! Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Sunblock Lotion with SPF 30 also burns. I have not tried another type, yet. I am looking for suggestions.
Currently, I protect myself from the sun by using products that have small amounts of SPF protection. To be specific, Eucerin Redness Relief and my foundation. I use Almay line smoothing makeup with an additional SPF 15.
My daily routine includes:
Ponds Cold Cream for sensitive skin.
I wet my skin with water and apply the next two products
Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion SPF15
Eucerin Q-10 Anti Wrinkle Sensitive Skin Creme
Foundation (Almay ... listed above)
Initially, I loved the outcome. My sensitivity and redness diminished within days. I still suffer from acne and there are areas on my skin that still seem dry. The moisturizer is not hydrating as much. I have used Cetaphil for Dry Sensitive Skin in the past. Most moisturizers burn my skin, but Eucerin Q-10 and Cetaphil do not. I may experiment with both products, but wonder if others like me have had success with the moisturizing masks.
