I got the Atopalm, even though skinstore jacked up the price. I hate using moisturizers since they either break me out, or aren't hydrating enough, or too hydrating, etc.

Anyway, the Atopalm is perfect! Adds hydration without feeling greasy. My skin is looking great, and knock and wood, no breakouts yet. But it's $49! I can't afford to keep using it at the rate I'm going.

So what are other DSNWs using? I did try Cerave which is waaay cheaper, but love the Atopalm since it repairs the barrier but also calms the irritation too.
Marcy - age 39
D in winter, O in summer
R but if I"m not careful I can become an S
P
W
occasional breakouts, but more hormonal in the jaw/upper neck area

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I have already tried some of the other recs...the Aveeno Ultra calming was not hydrating enough, the Eucerin Q10 was okay, it seems to leave me greasy on top, not fully hydrated underneath if that makes any sense. The Cerave was good, just liked the soothing qualities of the Atopalm better.

Some of the items in Dr. Baumann's book have been discontinued, but I've been using the concepts. I use Clinique's Comforting Cleanser, Signature Club A Meltdown and Paula's Choice Skin Recovery cleanser. None of them foam and my face is in the best shape it's been in for YEARS.

I'm still using my Cetaphil SPF 15 Moisturizer and it's doing well.

Thanks, I will check it out. I'm now thinking the Atopalm may have broken me out too, but hard to tell since I changed my routine a lot at once.
