TOPIC: Face area variability reaction to products

Face area variability reaction to products 4 years, 1 month ago #3008

Hi there, I just wanted to see if anyone else has my problem. I can try a new product on one area - say my cheek and it would be absolutely fine, no reaction but then the same product may cause rosacea bumps on my nose, or chapping on my top lip or non-inflammatory sensitivity bumps on my forehead or acne spots on my chin. For example, at the moment I can use L'occitane SPF 15 cream on my nose and cheeks absolutely fine, but if I put it on my forehead, it's bump city! I know that the skin differs but come on! Another thing I've found is that when I use a new product sometimes it can seem as if it's caused a problem but actually it's just that I haven't used enough of it. I use L'occitane ultra rich shea 20% cream on my face at night - if I don't put enough on my nose it will be likely to be a lot redder and bumpier the next morning. So one layer makes me think I'm reacting to the product and I shouldn't use it atall but if I slather 5 layers on (I'm not kidding) it works well. So not only do I have variablity to products in terms of where I put them but also variability in the quantity used ! As a general rule, the more cream the better on my nose and the less cream the better on my forehead and chin. Does anyone else have this problem or am I just extra wierd?!
DSNW with rosacea on nose and acne on chin - Update - now OSNW - the roaccutane stopped working!
