Hi everyone, Now I am workign on a bother scale for dry skin. Some of you may have seen my questions i the oily skin types about the oily skin bother scale I developed. Now I am doing the same for dry skin.

What bothers you most about your dry facial skin? Pick one thing...tightness, itchy, roughness, texture? Please help me pinpoint the onemost disturbing feature. Thanks for your help!

Dr. Baumann,

I am an OSNW, but under my eyes and part of my cheeks are DSNW.

My biggest complains there are dryness & rough texture.

I originally tested DSNW but am a tad OSNW with summer upon us.

My #1 complaint is the tightness I have after cleansing. It happens with no matter what cleanser I use, except for something like Cerave. I gets a bit better this time of year though.

Texture, tightness after washing, occasional flaking, fine lines (can all of that be blamed on dryness??)

My biggest complaint would be the flaking. Secondary would be roughness and texture.
