I'm in the DSNW category and would like to know if there is a body lotion that can be recommended for very dry skin that will keep my skin hydrated.

Also, Dr. Baumann's book provided brand options for liquid foundation however, I'd like to use powder in its place.  Does anyone have a recommendation on what works best for our skin type.

My absolute favorite for dry skin is Cetaphil Lotion in the tub. It's about $11-12 at walgreens. Costco always sells a larger size for $10. It's non-greasy, absorbs into your skin and takes away that tight feeling. My friend who has terrible psoriasis turned me onto it and I love it. Hope that helps....

I love the Vaseline Advanced Healing lotion. As for foundation, what about mineral makeup? I know for some it can be drying, but if you moisturize well maybe that might work.

My favorite body lotion for my dry skin is Cetaphil Lotion.

As far as powder foundations go, my favorite is Aromaleigh Glissade mineral foundation. It doesn't dry out my skin or make it itch like other mineral foundations and powders have done. They also have a really great color selection which makes it easy to find a match.

For dry skin on the body I use The Body Shops Hemp Body Butter and on my hands the Hemp Hand Protector. The hand creme really works and made my rough hands smooth and soft again!
For the powder foundation. I am slightly dry, borderline oily/dry (25 - 26, I have taken the survey a few times to be sure!) and I just read the OSNW ( I have decided to be a DSNW instead of a T as I am on the border of that one too) to get a powder - I just got Mabellines loose powder from the list. I tried it today and it worked on my T zone. Hopefully it will be fine for me! Good luck!
