Since we have skin on our scalps I'm thinking that we likely react to hair care products in a similar way to facial products. Can anyone with sensitive skin recommend shampoo and conditioner, especially one that will control dandruff?

Hi,

I'm not dry but do have sensitive skin and a birth mark on my scalp that reacts really badly to stuff it doesn't like (and dandruff). I use Neutrogena T gel, which is really good at controlling the dandruff. I don't use a conditioner but I believe Neutrogena do one in this range too.
Perhaps you could check out their website.
I also sometimes use Avalon shampoos so you might want to check them out too.

Hope this helps.

I use Head & Shoulder's Intensive treatment and a deep hair conditioning mask at least once a week for my dry curly hair. I've noticed that my scalp tends to produce dandruff if I skip a shower or don't use Head & Shoulders for awhile.

Hope this helps!

I used to have dandruff. I tried everything! Finally I found Nizoral A-D Ketoconazole Shampoo 1% This works after 2 uses and now I only have to use it once every two weeks for maintence. You can get it at any drug store.
The rest of the time I use Paves Shampoo, it containes no sulfates which are used in detergents and bad for us sensitive types. You can find this at Target.

I have mild dandruff, dry skin - very sensitive, and fine, dry, coloured hair. I love Loreal's Kiwi shampoo and conditioner (used to be artec, but they've rebadged) - hope this helps
