I've taken the test a bunch of times and always came out as an N, though I do have a melasma patch that appears during pregnancy then goes away.

Recently I accidentally got a much better look at my skin in very bright daylight and noticed that I have some large patchy areas of very, very light hyperpigmentation. It is very hard to see because I am VERY fair, but it is noticeable if you're looking more closely.

I think the patches were there all along, I probably just never looked at myself close enough in bright light for the P part of the test. Also, I do have freckling over the bridge of my nose which has been there FOREVER, I'm just so used to it that I literally don't notice it on myself.

This was further confirmed today when I went to the esthetician at my derm's office and I discussed my skin issues with her. She did a PCA peel and in the second layer added in the hydroquinone peel for my "hyperpigmentation". She spot treated the areas which apparently there were some to treat.

So there ya have it. I'm one of those fair skinned P types.   (Gotta update my test scores!!)
