Greetings All,
I am prompted to post about this product because I was all done with my routine this a.m. and had forgotten to use this! Arrrgh! Also, I had mentioned it in another one of my posts, but got the name and the price mixed up -- both were wrong. So here's the correct info:
Cutanix Dramatic Relief with Quadrinone Technology 1%, Sensitive Skin Formula. Whew! What a mouthful! Anyway, this is one of Dr. B's recs for facial flushing. It is a hydrating moisturizing cream, comes in a 1.7 oz. tube, and the reg. price is $45. It is currently on sale at the dermadoctor website for $37.50. The product smells rather coconut-y, but the scent is mild. It contains no irritating ingredients and it does get rid of the redness.
Suggested use is twice per day.
My skin is feeling quite well, but appears a tad flushed today because I grabbed the Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Moisturizer to use instead of this one. Ooops! I guess I need to put some things away, or else use the PC at night. I could not tolerate the Eucerin Redness Relief products because I react to the licorice root in them.
By the way, if you ever run itno a moisturizer that you feel is not hydrating enough but can otherwise use, keep a jar of Clinique's Moisture Surge on hand. The Moisture Surge comes in a pink jar. It is a simple hydrating gel that smells mildly like apricots. You can apply a wee bit OVER your moisturizer and it really smooths out the skin and instantly hydrates it. I use this a lot during the winter, over moisturizer and before sunscreen. I have not found a better hydrating product and this enables me to use up moisturizers that I would ordinarily not be able to use. It is good for all skin types. You can also use it as a hydrating mask.
Another aside, I was out in the cold and wind yesterday. I did NOT get windburn! Yaaaaay! The regimen is working, folks! Inky
