I am so happy that I've found Dr. B's book - it has helped me pinpoint skin problems I never even realized were because of the products I was using.  I just figured out that I have an itch reaction to zinc oxide!  Who would have thought?  Zinc oxide is supposed to be good for sensitive skin, but every time I use a moisturizer, foundation or sunscreen with zinc oxide in it, the skin around my lips itch something fierce!  And my whole face is itchy too, but mainly above my chin and right around my lips.  Sunscreens or moisturizers with sunscreen but not zinc oxide in them don't do this.  Mineral foundations with zinc oxide make me itch to high heaven too.

Just wanted to share this because it's something I never would have figured out on my own - and according to everything I've read, zinc oxide is less likely to cause a reaction than avebenzone or other sunscreen ingredients, but for me, it's the exact opposite.

Anyone else have this problem with zinc oxide or am I the only one?
