Hi - I'm having a time finding a drugstore night time moisturizer that is on the list that works for me.  I tried the Aveeno Positively Radiant - the anti-wrinkle cream stung upon application and each morning I woke up with red irritation bumps - this went on for 3 days until I returned it - that's all I could take.  So today I bought Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Night Creme - boy, talk about a flare up!  I put it on and my face turned red!  That can't be good!  So I washed it off - obviously something in it doesn't agree with my skin.  My skin still hurts hours later!  And I'm sure it will be flared for 2 days now - that's my usual cycle - use an irritating product - have a flare up - 2 days of skin-nightmare!  And I don't mean a rosacea flare up - I mean stinging - I'm a stinger :'(.  So I have two days of stinging to look forward to.  Ugh.

I'm okay for daytime - I have Avon Luminosity and I don't have any issues with it, so I'm okay with that one.  But a night moisturizer is another story.

Ugh.  I hate having such sensitive skin.  What has been working for me is Olay Sensitive Skin Moisture Therapy Lotion, so I put some of that on and I'm going to just use it at night.  It has aloe, vitamin e, chamomile (sp?), is fragrance and dye free - and says it helps to repair the moisture barrier - should be just fine, right?  Of course I want to follow the "rules", but the two drugstore products on the list for DSPW both gave me horrible reactions, and I don't want to spend the money for department store products unless I absolutely have to.  There's a Burt's Bees moisturizer on the list - has anyone tried that one?

Thanks for listening to me ramble.  I would go to the dermatologist, but at the moment I have Kaiser Permanente insurance and I've already tried to get a referral - you know what 2 different doctors told me?  Go to the Lancome counter!  I kid you not!  That was their advice - go buy myself some Lancome and my skin problems will be over - do you think Kaiser and Lancome have some secret deal going?   ???  Luckily, I'm switching insurance carriers at the end of September, so I'll be able to go to a dermatologist if I need to at that point. But it would be nice to find a night time moisturizer for less than $25 - any recommendations?
