Hello - I am normally in the OSPW category, but my neck and chest are flaming up again and I need to put some more work into my DSPW regimen for that area. I can't afford a lot of extra money and space for my "2nd" skin regimen, so would like to know the basics you've found at the drugstore for your type. Thank you so much for any help!

My O/D score is borderline, but my SPW is absolute!
My sensitivity expresses itself in breakouts, so I don't know if this will help you, but here goes:

I remove eyeM/U with Lumene Gentle Eye M/U remover from CVS. (I like it as well as Clarins' but for much less money)
I remove M/U with Cetaphil
Wash with Neutrogena soap, and a soft facial brush from Shiseido (the only exfolliation my skin can handle right now)
Spritz with La Roche Posay Therma Spring Water (bought it on eBay)
Olay Regenerist Serum
Daytime: Neutrogena Healthy Defense Eye Cream SPF 30
Nightime: Olay Regenerist Eye Cream
Daytime: Olay Complete Beauty Fluid SPF15, or Neutrogena Healthy Defense Tinted SPF 30
Nightime: Olay regenerist Night

Good luck!!

Hi Kylie56, I'm very borderline and must always keep the D in mind. I am following a pretty basic regimen: wash with Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser (I use this on my neck area too), Dove Sensitive Essentials Night Cream around my eyes, SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel as an anti-inflammatory serum (recommended for pigmentation too), and then an Olay SPF moisturizer (was using Complete Defense for sensitive skin but just started using the fragrance free Total Effects 7x and actually really like it) or Olay Total Effects 7x (without SPF) at night.

I love the Dove night cream, though it is discontinued. I've been stocking up at Big Lots - only $2.50 / jar! It is a very nice, fragrance free cream that feels smooth and elegant, and makes my skin soft. I used it as my main night moisturizer in colder months and will go back to it when the weather changes again. It really helped my skin when it needed healing (my skin is noticeably less reactive now), and it has kept the skin around my eyes from flaring up with redness (I apparently have an ongoing issue with dryness and allergies around my eyes). If you have a Big Lots near you I would recommend looking for it and giving it a try.

I also use the DDF Sulfur Therapeutic mask, though I don't think that's what you're looking for at this point.

Hope you find something that helps.

Hi there,
I am definitely SPW and vacillate between O/D  depending on the weather and hormonal fluctuations.
My current regimen includes:
Eucerin Redness Relief Cleanser(p.m.)
Dove Sensitive Essential Cleanser (a.m.) --I stocked up at Big Lots!
LaRoche Posay H2O
Dover Flawless Effects (for lightening spots)
Eucerin Redness Relief Night Creme (p.m.)
Olay Total Effects 7X FF or Dove Energy Glow (a.m.)
Neutrogena Visibly Firm Eye Cream
Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich Foundation
I use the Peter Thomas Roth Sulfur Masque about once a week.

I thought for years that I had to "discipline" my breakout-prone skin with harsh scrubs, exfoliation, etc. I am very pleased to say that this gentler approach has really calmed things down! I now realize that much of my problem with acne was my sensitive skin reacting to the harsh products I was using.  What an eye-opener!

Good Luck!
Claire
