The book does not recommend any foundations for DSPW skin! Does anyone have advice on what works?

I am very borderline for O/D, so I'm not sure that what works for me will work for really dry skin. I use (and like) Benefit's Non-Fiction foundation. It goes on well over moisturizer, is not noticeable as make-up (... makes my skin look nice but not "made up"), and stays smooth. I just started wearing foundation about a year ago when I noticed my skin tone was a bit uneven, and I don't wear foundation too often, but I do like this. I would be curious to see what others use though.....

I believe Dr. B is going to look into a few foundations from Laura Mercier that I asked about. I am a definite DSPW and the foundations I use are either Laura Mercier Silk Creme or the Moisturzing foundation and when I want a drugstore foundation, I've been using Neutrogena Visibly Even. Sometimes I only use Physicians Formual Mineral Powder Foundation over the Dr. Denese Day Cream (tinted moisturizer).

Because I'm so borderline between O and D, I'm finding now that I do well with oil based foundations in Winter and oil free in Summer. Currently I'm using Dr. Denese's Daycream with Clientele Perfect Coverage Compact (minerals) over.

Aspenstar - I received that Smashbox Seamless today, but already had my face on. I'll report back tomorrow and see if it lists ingredients as well. Oh, I got a really nice note back from Clientele with ingredient lists from the chermist. Later I will sit down with the book and see if there are any conflicts with the powder and foundations. I also asked for ingredients for some of their Elastology products with soy. It's silly those lists aren't readily available on websites or packaging.

FIDGET:

Ok, I'm really curious about the Smashbox seamless foundation and what you found out about the soy with the Clientele products - I think somewhere in the others chapters, it says to use only fractionated soy or this will only aggravate the pigmentation. (Sorr, don't have my book with me now...
