Hi Everyone -
I’m ready to take the leap into Retinoids and have a couple questions for you. First did any of you start with an OTC then move to a prescription retinoid? If so, what process did you take?

Second, I know that the RX retinoids are more effective; however I am confused when I look at the percentages of the products. Affirm 3X says it contains .6% Retinol. While Renova (the brand I want to try) contains .05%. Herein lies my confusion, can anyone explain the difference in percentages?

With RX retinoids, are you using it on top of your moisturizer (waiting 30 mins between moisturizer and retinoid)?
