Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience using Vichy Nutrilogie 2. I finally broke down and bought it. I really enjoy the LRP toleriane soothing protective cream, but would like a little bit more moisture. I found I needed two coats of it to work since it slides around so much when applied to damp skin (as DS types are supposed to).
I really enjoy the texture of this Vichy Nutrilogie 2, and it basically is what I was hoping for, except that after about an hour or two, and then persisting, I get a mild version of what I felt after the Atopalm products: cheeks feel hot and look a little red, and some very small little welts/bumps. It's tolerable, but troubling since I'd hate to think I was doing more harm than good at $26 a jar.
I'm going to give it a couple more days, but I thought I'd ask if someone had some guidance on this.

My second question:
How important is the use of an anti-inflammatory or anti-oxidant product? I tried the sample of Paula's Choice Skin Relief Treatment over the course of about 3 days, and the burning, redness (localized to the upper cheek mostly) and very small welts got progressively worse, so I stopped using it. I have the PC anti-oxidant sample to try next, but now I wonder if maybe my skin is simply too dry and sensitive for these things.

Thanks!
donna

Update: Same evening as I was writing the post, the heated redness worsened, and I've given up on it. Back to the LRP line, reliably soothing. Just need more hydration. Any suggestions on what to try next?
