Has anyone noticed this is a new product at the Baumann store for our skin type? Or has anyone used it? I am really loving my Olay Total Effects (day and night)...but wondered about this when my current products are gone. I truly am BAD about stopping a product and trying a new one while I still have plenty left!

Hi Aspenstar, I hadn't noticed this at the store, but I did just see a review of it by Paula Begoun. She says it is a "brilliantly formulated moisturizer," and recommends it for slightly dry or oily types, who don't get blemishes. The review was in her Beauty Bulletin. It does look very good, and knowing that Dr. Baumann recommends it for sensitive types makes me more interested in it - so thanks for posting this I do sometimes get blemishes, so I wasn't sure...

Btw, I tried the Total Effects 7x (I think on your recommendation...) and am liking it quite a bit. I am using the non-UV, sensitive skin version. Hasn't worked any miracles yet, in evening my skin tone, but it moisturizes very well without being too heavy or creamy, and I think it might gradually make a difference.

Thanks Nelly, I think the combo of the Total Effects and the skin lightener is what made my skin more bright looking. I'm just about done with the skin lightener and will now only use the Pigment of Your Imagination Sunblock. That sure is some GREAT information on the Dove Energy Glow. I noticed the daytime moisturizer has ceramides in it too!

I purchased the Dove Energy Glow today and used it under my foundation.  It felt SO nice, and my foundation went on very smoothly over it. I was very pleased on this initial use.  Have had sensitivity to products with SPF before (itching), so will hold my breath... but so far, so good!
I like the Olay Total Effects 7x, also.

Hey Claire
Zinc Oxide is the primary sunblocker in Dove Energy Glow so maybe you won't have as many issues with it as you have had with other products.
